Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant is repsonsible for performing general accounting functions for a wide client base. This position allows for the team member to work in a hybrid capacity both at home and in our Centennial, CO office. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller and will work with several members of the Briotix Health team to ensure accurate accounting and timely internal client service. Work is typically heavier during the first 8 business days of the month to meet close deadline expectations.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare ACH and wire transfers
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet account schedules
• Calculate management fees and owner distributions
• Assist in the analysis and variance explanations for financial statements
• Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation
• Communicate and coordinate with Briotix Health key stakeholders to resolve financial and accounting system issues
• Assist with the prepartion of and review of annual budgets
• Comply with company policy, procedures, and all applicable local, state, and federal law
• Contribute to continue process and system improvement
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an accounting or finance-related field 
• 3 or more years of accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Working knowledge of MS Suite of products Office and accounting databases
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Creative analysis & problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experinece with multi-entity and consolidation accounting
• Experience in healthcare or professional services
• Experience in Sage Intacct and/or other systems
• Experience in RAMP or other web-based expense management platform
• Familiarity with Qucikbooks Online and/or Great Plains
