We are seeking a Human Resources Manager that will champion our culture and lead a wide range of HR activities to enhance the employee experience and lifecycle, including, but not limited to onboarding, performance management, employee coaching, talent management, employee relations, absentee management, benefit, and total rewards programs. This individual will report directly to the VP of Human Resources, will reside, and provide primary support to our Denver office, and must have the ability to travel as needed to service headquarters in St. Louis, and offices in Kansas City, and Richmond Virginia. The ideal candidate is someone looking to work with a dynamic organization that encourages creative thinking. The key to success is having a strong business acumen, future focused mindset, collaborative style, and ability to influence others

Responsibilities

  • Understand the business and HR strategy, lead key HR initiatives and partner with leadership to develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation that is consistent with organization objectives 
  • Communicate and reinforce the company’s mission and values by partnering with leaders and employees to promote a supportive environment that values diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging where different perspectives are recognized and valued for the benefit of the team 
  • Provide high touch business partner support to leaders and employees using human resources policies, procedures, insights, and services to optimize capability, capacity, and contribution 
  • Research, adapt, and promote best in class practices, foster collaboration across all functional areas, ensure smooth implementation of HR solutions and builds overall capability of the organization
  • Coach senior leaders to develop their skills and capabilities to improve performance and gain better results through their teams 
  • Leverages and shares data insights with key stakeholders to inform future outcomes 
  • Create and improve existing processes and practices, with a focus on core, common and consistent methods across the organization 
  • Serve as an advocate and accelerator for transformational and change leadership, development, and performance management 
  • Accountability to maintain in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local legal regulations related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with legal department as needed/required 
  • Participate in day-to-day delivery of local HR operations, including but not limited to administering absentee management, HR systems, and compliance audits 
  • Identify key metrics and analytics to support decisions driving the people agenda for the business 
  • Conduct effective and objective investigations as needed 
  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR solutions and services by engaging other HR resources as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others; utilizing conflict resolution techniques, and making the necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure employee perspectives are considered 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field 
  • 3 years of management experience, preferably directly managing HR professionals 
  • 5 years HR Generalist experience; broad experience within a fast-growing company 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for actions based on the analysis 
  • Proven experience in influencing and building strong partnerships with stakeholders, senior leaders, and employees 
  • Experience executing strategies and/or managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement 
  • Minimal travel required. 

Salary starts at $95,000 and up. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.No agency submittals are accepted.
