Responsibilities

  • Align business development, sales, and marketing efforts with corporate strategic priorities to ensure annual growth projections
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing and potential clients, architects, consultants, and other business and community organizations; build strong industry presence on a national level directly beneficial to Brinkmann Constructors
  • Act as a strategic partner with senior management team to meet business development needs of target market(s)
  • Perform market trend analysis to enhance our market share in a particular sector; monitor competitor activity
  • Source and develop leads regarding potential clients and new opportunities through research, cold calls, networking, publications, existing clients, referrals, or industry and community organizations, etc.
  • Leverage existing clients and experience to create new opportunities
  • Direct the assembly of proposals and presentations; assist in strategic marketing efforts by target market(s); oversee the integrity of the corporate brand
  • Get Brinkmann a seat at the table of corporate decision makers on qualified opportunities; conduct client needs assessment prior to sales meeting; facilitate client turnover to sales and operations team
  • Champion lead generation and relationship development on a company-wide basis
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, marketing, business, or related field plus seven to ten years of related experience/training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of construction industry specifically as it relates to business development, sales, and marketing.
  • Exceptional ability to establish and maintain effective relationships providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate persuasively, verbal or written, to others.
  • Computer skills for recordkeeping and data management; ability to work in Internet environment
