Schedule

Option 1: Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm

Option 2: Preferred Saturday and Sunday 6am - 10pm (The individual will work these hours for a total of 31 hrs and be compensated by the facility to 36 hrs each week)

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, assists in supervising nursing services and sets the standards of care to ensure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment so that each resident will receive benefit that accounts for their medical, physical, emotional and psychological needs. Fulfills policies and objectives establishing quality nursing care as set forth by the Administrator and standards of the facility. Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of Senior Care Centers and the Nursing Department, and directs the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality of care to all residents, and to assure resident safety.

To assure resident safety

CPR certification required

Completion of the daily list to ensure policy and procedures are being followed on a daily basis for the unit they supervise

Assure attending physicians are given support by nursing personnel

Other duties as assigned
