What You Will Do:

The Director of contracts reports to the CFO and is in charge of all contractual processes with the government, prime contractors, subcontractors, vendors and partners. This position is also a key enabler for growth efforts supporting the growth and delivery teams.

Essential Job Functions

  • Understands and Interprets contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards.
  • Responsible for Pricing activities including analysis, PTW strategies, and development.
  • Responsible for Facilities Management.
  • Supporting growth
    • Works with company leadership (Business Development, Program Delivery, Finance, HR, etc.) to achieve corporate goals.
    • Attend or lead client meetings.
    • Supports business development and growth activities from inception and provides risk assessments/analysis.
    • Primary interface with all contracting officers, positions and identifies new opportunities for growth
    • Participate in and support all proposal activities and color review meetings.
  • Responsible for building teams as necessary when needed while reducing costs.
  • Responsible for Procurement activities including but not limited to understanding purchasing system and leading purchasing team (PRs and POs).
  • Responsible for review, negotiation, and administration of Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Task Orders, Contract Modifications, Teaming Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
  • Responsible for management and administration of company contracts to ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions (cost and technical).
  • Reviews and resolves all issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives.
  • Interfaces with Government/Client Contracting personnel. Provides contractual guidance, advice, and support to "in-house management and Program Mangers, including interpreting terms and conditions, monitoring contract performance, and performing contract close-outs in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for generating contractual correspondence.
  • Leads a contracts, subcontracts, procurement, pricing, and facilities team.
  • Be leader for mitigation of risk and leader in compliance.

Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Experience: Minimum eight (8) years of all aspects of Federal Contracts Administration.
