We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to work in our Howard County Location (just south of Columbia, off of RT. 32).
In this role to be successful you will have:
Excellent communication skills: must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers from different backgrounds and with varying needs. This includes active listening, speaking clearly and concisely, and being able to convey empathy and understanding.
Patience and empathy: must be able to remain calm and patient, even in difficult or stressful situations, must also be able to empathize with customers and understand their concerns.
Problem-solving skills: must be able to analyze a situation and find a solution to the problem. This requires critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to think on your feet.
Adaptability and flexibility: must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and be flexible in their approach to problem-solving, must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities at once and be willing to adjust their approach as needed.
Product and service knowledge: must have a thorough understanding of the products and services they are offering, as well as the policies.
Positive attitude and demeanor: must have a positive attitude and demeanor, even when dealing with difficult or unhappy customers, must be able to maintain a professional tone and remain friendly and courteous at all times.
