Brightflag is Hiring a Remote Content Specialist

We’re bringing a trailblazing product to market, helping customers like Dropbox, Shopify, and Volvo improve productivity, reduce costs, and deliver data-driven insights into their legal operations.

And while we’ve grown substantially over the past few years, we’re nowhere near done yet. Brightflag is on a mission to improve the way legal teams operate and investing heavily in our marketing team to help bring this vision to reality.

That’s why we are seeking an experienced Content Specialist to help create and distribute high-impact content across multiple channels and mediums. The Content Specialist will report to the Senior Content Marketing Manager and work closely with our product marketing, design, and demand generation teams on initiatives to increase awareness for the Brightflag brand and grow the marketing attributable pipeline. 

This position is an opportunity for a self-starter to work and develop in a fast-moving marketing team within an international company that is undergoing rapid growth.

What you will be doing

  • Create compelling blog posts, ad copy, marketing emails, and other written content in support of sales and marketing campaigns 
  • Manage Brightflag’s social media presence by consistently creating, scheduling, and posting content to Brightflag’s social media channels. This includes promoting; content assets, podcasts, company milestones, and sharing the Brightflag story.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry.
  • Work with Brightflag executives to produce our In-House Outliers podcast, including coordinating with outside vendors to ensure that podcast-related graphics, transcripts, and other requirements are completed correctly and on time.
  • Build out a podcast schedule that includes suggested guests, topic themes, and question prompts.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or professional experience in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.
  • Samples of published work, preferably in a B2B setting 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive mindset with a bias for action.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and innate curiosity
