Duties include but are not limited to:• Obtaining and recording accurate physical assessment data based on diagnosis and care plan• Communicating patient status to the Physician/Respiratory Therapist• Implementing and documenting timely interventions appropriate to patient needs• Delivering consistent quality patient care, evidenced by assigned patients being clean and comfortable• Responding to patient requests/call lights with the appropriate action• Administering medication and treatments• Suctioning patients/Trach care as neededThe successful candidate will possess the following:• Valid CA Vocational Nurse License (LVN)• MINIMUM One (1) year clinical experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in skilled nursing facility REQUIRED• sub-acute/ acute care experience PREFERRED• BLS required• IV certification preferred• Trach and Vent Certification preferred• Excellent customer service skills• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills required• Basic computers skills
