Program Administrator

Reports To: Program Administration Team Lead

Location: New York, NY or Remote

The Role

The Strategic Initiatives Business Unit of Bright Power is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated applicant to join our Fannie Mae Green M&V Service Program team. Bright Power works with property owners who have Fannie Mae Green Loans and helps them meet their utility data reporting requirements.

The Program Administrator will support the Program team with project management and administrative tasks that help ensure smooth delivery of service. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the entire program.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with Program team on deliverables to ensure smooth delivery of the Green Measurement and Verification service
  • Use Microsoft/Google suite in preparing client presentations, meeting agendas, and internal reports
  • Facilitate meetings.
  • Assist with invoice generation and vendor management.
  • Lead projects and tasks that support service delivery, operational and process excellence, and contribute to team objectives and key results.
  • Ensure analytics are accurate and that all teams are meeting established metrics for success for FNMA project communication.
  • Generate Salesforce reports and dashboards to support project work.
  • Support management of program budgets, invoices, and finance as needed.
  • Assist the Program team with their project workload including tasks such as: data entry, data visualization, research, document cleanup and organization.
  • Assist in event planning and team coordination
  • Assist in the reporting of energy and water efficiency measure inspection and utility benchmarking data
  • Contribute to Strategic Initiatives special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with the internal Technology team on special projects
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the entire Fannie Mae program to answer general inquiries
  • Collaborate with team members to constantly improve workflow processes

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of industry experience may also be accepted
  • Self-motivated and organized-- this position works with an end deliverable for a client that has many moving pieces
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with spreadsheet-based programs -- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Interest in sustainability, namely in the energy sector
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment providing ideas and open feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the real estate, energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainability or building operations world
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with cloud-based CRM platforms -- Salesforce
  • Experience with Energy Star Portfolio Manager, especially for Multifamily Buildings and Commercial
  • Willingness to learn SQL
