What will you be doing:

    • You will be an interdepartmental leader who will guide projects from discovery to delivery.
    • You will collaborate with other creative Project Engineers and Project Managers to establish a Concept Plan and Project Model for each assigned project.
    • You will brainstorm with talented Fabrication and Finishing Specialists to define and adhere to construction parameters based on Concept Plan, Project Model, budget, and timeline for custom fabrication elements.
    • You will support Account executives in project discovery and definition, identifying and assembling project teams and resources, and facilitating the successful development and delivery of projects
    • You will manage a team of project engineers making the clients vision a design reality.
    • You will embrace continuous improvement measures in the workflow.
    • You will demonstrate innovative thinking.
  • You will develop the client engagement experience, including relationship building, leading submittals, and managing expectations.
  • You thrive under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively.
  • You will perfect your budgeting skills by conducting cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project and developing a budget.
  • You will be the project champion, keeping a positive focus, addressing questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • You have an active role as the point person in quality assurance of your assigned projects ensuring quality deliverables.
  • You will help with the legal stuff ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
  • You will manage subcontractors and other specialty purchases for each project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in industrial or architectural design, carpentry, construction, or related field.
  • 5 years of creative project management experience in the Scenic or Tradeshow industry.
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 with maintained boosters with reasonable accommodation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Solid works, Adobe and Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and works well with others, while still taking independent initiative.
  • Passionate, positive, and solution oriented.
  • Open to potential travel, flexible hours, and weekend work as necessary by client needs.
