About the Role

The Executive Coordinator role has a wide breadth of responsibilities, spanning across multiple areas to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of both professional and personal calendar management. In this role, you will support and oversee processes by providing excellent administrative assistance to your team members. Successful candidates will be results-oriented, be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and passionate about being a key support role within a growing team.

You will drive the following responsibilities:

  • Are a Jack/Jill of all trades who is willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done across a blend of administrative and operational tasks.
  • Oversee personal and professional calendar management.
  • Managing, organizing, and prioritizing against deadlines across different workstreams while keeping the mission in mind.
  • Understanding goals and priorities of the department in order to maintain and revise responsibilities and team processes.
  • Are a natural “problem perceiver” — you can sense when something’s missing or gone awry
  • Scheduling of meetings and events that require cross team coordination.
  • Are open-minded, appreciate direct feedback, and revel in intellectually rigorous environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience as an Administrative/Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar type of role supporting one person or team preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and work cross functionally when managing several concurrent threads.
  • Highly determined individual, willing to push through to get things done.
  • Ability to work with and manage various stakeholders in service of a common goal.
  • Humble and open-minded, eager to learn and take on more as the responsibilities of the team expand.

Physical Requirements

For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
