About the Investment Engine

About the Role

The Coordinator role has a wide breadth of responsibilities, spanning across multiple areas to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of team management and ensuring team success. In this role, you are responsible for understanding the size and shape of team demand and oversee setting the vision to accomplish goals, and aiding the team do to so through effective organization and process management. Successful candidates will be results-oriented, be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and passionate about being a key support role within a growing team.

You will drive the following responsibilities:

  • Understand the team’s vision, goals, responsibilities, people and machine designs, and problems.
  • Ensure there is a prioritization machine in place, ensuring calendars align to agree upon goals, stakeholders are in synch on changes, escalations are clear, etc.
  • Runs processes to monitor and ensure weekly, monthly, yearly goals are achieved, as well as find solutions to improve current processes.
  • Ensure procedures are in place to enable the vision or goals and creates a process to audit and track progress.
  • Oversees team calendars and coordinates the team, as it relates to the goals and responsibilities of the team.
  • Monitors and tracks team performance as it relates to current responsibilities of the team.
  • Owns talent management of, but is not limited to, on/offboarding, security policies, team reviews, expectation setting, team step backs.
  • Manages functions for senior investors and oversees accommodating them.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of experience as an Administrative/Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar type of role supporting one person or team preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and work cross functionally when managing several concurrent threads.
  • Highly determined individual, willing to push through to get things done.
  • Ability to work with and manage various stakeholders in service of a common goal.
  • Humble and open-minded, eager to learn and take on more as the responsibilities of the team expand.

Physical Requirements

For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
