Responsibilities
- Review and release invoices processed ensuring batch integrity and authorizations
- Research and correct daily error reports
- Handle inquiries received by telephone, internet, and mail of all AP processes and procedures
- Research and identify overpayments, processing corrections as required
- Processes all payments in a timely manner with appropriate approval
- Processes stop payments and canceled check requests
- Maintains and ensures accuracy of the AP vendor master file and accurate and timely 1099 reporting
- Maintain statistical data for the department
- Entry of home office expense reports
- Processes all electronic invoices, (including Aegis and Alixarx) researching errors and balancing reports for accurate and timelyposting
- Assists in system enhancement projects by testing data and providing data for testing,
- Ensure all AP documents are maintained, and audit requests (including cost report audit) are completed timely
- Prepares month-end accruals based on workflow
- Monitor general email boxes (vendor inquiry, multi-facility)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting, finance, or management
- Minimum three (2) years of accounting experience Strong Verbal and listening skills
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
