Position: Plumber Reports to: Water Heater Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to read, interpret, utilize and train on manuals, schematics and control circuits related to plumbing systems.
Work with the homeowner to assess client needs and plan the best solutions
Diagnose plumbing challenges and work to resolve any issues
Determine options with investments based on solutions
Determine the materials needed for each new project
Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices
Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects
Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local plumbing codes
Determine service needs, provide standardized pricing options, and perform repairs
Install or repair water heaters and toilets
Repair Leaks
Pipe or re-pipe homes or buildings
Work Hours:
This is a non-exempt position. Work hours to be determined. Overtime may occasionally be required based on the needs of the business.

This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Must be hard working, self-starter with a positive attitude and respectful. This position requires excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and decision making.
Work Environment
Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. May be exposed to uncomfortable temperatures and/or conditions. Occasionally exposed to wet, snow, hot and humid conditions. Subject to dark confines work spaces such as crawl space and attics.
Physical Requirements
Light to moderate work conditions. Be comfortable with and physically able to safely help lift equipment, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, bend, crawl and kneel. Must be able to lift 150 pounds at a time.
Supervisory Responsibility
None. All questionable matters are referred to Supervisor.
Travel
Willing to travel within the following counties King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Island (travel may occur within other counties).
