Summary/Objective

The Administrative Services Finance Coordinator manages internal needs of both the Finance and Administrative Services departments.

Essential Functions

  • Assists in answering incoming calls for information for our workers compensation product. Provide excellent customer service and diligently work to resolve issues and errors
  • Develops and maintains a working-level understanding of our worker’s compensation product
  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Clearly communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly projects to leadership
  • Liaises between the members and internal teams for solutions
  • Tracks daily activities and progress with members using our in-house software systems

Workers’ Compensation Functions

  • Assists and provides backup with Administrative Services requests when needed
  • Maintain and manage assigned groups, contacts and general member information
  • Invoice and payment posting for assigned members using our inhouse software systems and QuickBooks
  • Tracking and collecting of funds from members on a monthly basis including collections on past due accounts
  • Various administrative projects for assigned groups
  • Daily electronic payment scheduling and processing for selected groups
  • Daily administrative functions such as scanning, faxing and filing

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This position occasionally requires overtime.
  • This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for a total of 40 hours per week.
