Breakthru Beverage Group is Hiring a Manager, Human Resources Near Middle River, MD

Overview

We are experts in the wine, spirits and beer industry looking for an individual to share our passion for executing our HR agenda and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

The Manager, Human Resources supports company-wide and local markets (MD, DC) Human Resources initiatives in order to achieve business strategy and long and short-term objectives. This role provides support to the HR Senior Director and leadership team for the MD/DC business consisting of approximately 500 union and non-union associates.

This role will require a hybrid schedule in both, DC and Middle River locations

Responsibilities

  • Proactively supports the delivery and implementation of HR processes in collaboration with the Management and HR teams
  • Supports the internal talent acquisition process
  • Conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of HR business partner and/or HR generalist experience
  • Previous Labor Relations experience desired, but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including talent and performance management; organizational design and change management; total rewards; employee relations and diversity, equity and inclusion

Preferred

  • Certification such as PHR or SPHR
  • Previous HR Generalist experience
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the Company
  • Previous experience in a sales and distribution company
