Breakthru Beverage Group is Hiring a Manager, Business Development (Central-West Tito's) Near Cicero, IL

Overview

To build outstanding sales and marketing capabilities as well as execution. Enhance our supplier’s business through superior performance, training, and comprehensive activation driving industry leading growth and stronger supplier relationship. Coordination of actives and reporting in specific region to outperform National average on critical metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier region subject matter expert
  • Support KPI execution across all of the region’s markets
  • Analyze sales and KPI performance for opportunity gaps and develop solutions
  • Provide market training on critical selling opportunities ( KPI improvement)
  • Share best practices across all performance functions
  • Coordinate activities with market Digital Market Manager’s seeking E Com opportunities
  • Train new business managers
  • Review market LMF budgeting and evaluate programming ROI
  • Ensure ADS activities are on target to provide maximum sales advantage in market
  • Initiate and supervise annual review to monitor coverage parameters
  • Troubleshoot and liaise with IT and commercial excellence team
  • Ensure that Goal Model and Supplier’s KPI’s are correctly integrated

Regional and National Chain Execution Reporting

  • Ensure supplier’s product is represented in the off premise national and important regional accounts channel across the BBG network
  • Establish and maintain a CPG way of working for all BBG markets
  • Develop national local and region chain execution reporting
  • Work with the Supplier and BBG national accounts team to establish national execution calendars
  • Develop and maintain automated weekly regional tracking and reporting.
  • Maintains and communicates a monthly supplier market execution score card
  • Coordinates with Supplier’s senior leaders and the Director, Business Development
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in alcohol sales and marketing experience
  • Significant passion for and experience in wine/spirits sales, finance or business development demonstrating understanding of wine/spirits sales drivers
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and in-depth experience with core Breakthru systems (e.g., SAP, DSS, HANA, etc.)
  • Strong influencing / negotiating skills
  • Champion of change with DE&I
  • Travel 50% to 75% of time in market/field
  • Reside in the Regional BBG market that your role represents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong knowledge of legacy Sales organization and deep understanding of sales / pricing processes/ trade development, bus managers processes
  • Proficient in Power Pt, Excel, Nielsen Data
  • Expertise in local market pricing and programming systems / regulation
