Reporting to the Controller, Not for Profit, the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis provides direct support to facilitate sound business decisions including quarterly forecasting, quarterly Board reporting, annual audits, management of the annual Breaking Ground budget process and related monthly financial reporting, development of a three-year financial plan, special projects related to Breaking Ground activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with development of 1 and 3-year financial forecasts and plans and implements/oversees quarterly forecast process once in place Manage Breaking Ground’s annual budget process including budget reporting and assisting the Controller with budget related analyses Provide financial reporting and analytics for all not-for-profit departments Provides financial reporting and analytics for all ventures (PGB, third party, and new lines of business) Provide financial reporting and analytics for government contracts including year-end forecasts and track spending plans Assist the Controller with preparation and review of various financial statements, analyses and documents Assist the Controller with annual audits Prepare and manage special projects Performs other related duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree, MBA in Accounting, or equivalent experience CPA preferred Strong accounting and budget background and related training At least 6-8 years of public/corporate accounting experience Strong management skills, exceptional writing and interpersonal skills, skilled at problem solving, written and verbal communications, attention to detail, planning/organizing, quality control Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs including strong Excel skills
