Braverman Eye Center is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Hollywood, FL

Description

Responsible for daily patient care flow. Performs a number of data collection functions as delegated by the physician and/or Clinic Manager to allow for proper professional diagnosis, treatment, and care of patient’s condition(s).

Essential Functions

Testing

Scribing

Cleaning exam rooms

Monitoring the flow of patients

Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, or other healthcare environment
Knowledge of working in a multi-specialty environment
Willing to travel between multiple offices based on the demands of business
Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated computer literacy
Preferred Skills
COA or COT Certification
Proficient in ophthalmic testing
Knowledge of Diagnostic Equipment and Medical and Ophthalmic terminology
Bilingual
