Brasfield & Gorrie is Hiring a Paralegal Near Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently seeking a Paralegal in our Raleigh, North Carolina office. This position reports to the Paralegal Manager and requires a solution-oriented, organized, and team-focused individual who has a strong work ethic, the ability to collaborate, and a desire to serve others in a way that models the company’s values.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and organize contracts, contract addenda, project start-up memos, and other similar documents (40%)
  • Draft, review, and organize project-administration, corporate, and claim-management documents (30%)
  • Draft, review, and organize case filings, conduct document reviews and productions, and perform other similar litigation-support tasks (20%)
  • Set up new matters and help manage billings from outside counsel (5%)
  • Other necessary and assigned duties (5%)

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

Education, Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree reflecting strong academic abilities
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience; firm background preferred
  • Experience handling corporate projects and litigation matters
  • Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other applicable software systems
