Description
Part Time Maintenance Technician needed for Ardmore apartments in Winston Salem, NC. This job consists of repairs of assigned properties to include grounds, HVAC and appliances, interior and exteriors of buildings, out buildings, and apartment turn at various locations at any point during the work week. This includes areas such as replacing/repairing appliances, performing repairs and preventative maintenance for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other areas. As requested, this position will be responsible for repairs, such as carpet/vinyl, walls/painting, windows/gutters/doors, and other assorted work orders. Other areas of responsibility will include grounds keeping and landscaping and other duties as directed by the manager. Flexible schedule with 24-28 hours anticipated weekly.
This position will require strong interactive skills; to be courteous and professional with the many residents you will encounter.
*Pay will be based on experience.
Qualifications

HVAC/CPO certifications preferred but not required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate and two year’s maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to read and understand operation and instruction manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. Ability to complete, read and understand work order forms. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions one-on-one from management and tenants.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver’s License, CFC Certification required, Level II preferred, CPO certification required, or may be obtained within a reasonable time after hire.
