Description

JOB SUMMARY: Assist the Community Manager with the operation of assigned facility to including marketing units to 100% occupancy, tenant and prospective tenant relationships, banking and financial, light maintenance, and administrative and clerical functions. The Assistant Manager may also assume responsibility for leadership of the community in the absence of the Community Manager.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Community Manager with oversight of the leasing team and training
  • Leasing and marketing available apartments to prospects, tour community, process applications and complete and review lease paperwork
  • Post rental collections, make bank deposits, and oversee the administration of accounting functions; manage delinquency and file evictions as necessary
  • Oversee upcoming lease expirations and handling renewals, processing notices to vacate
  • Assist community manager with resident concerns and retention efforts
  • Assist team with overall appearance of amenity spaces, models, vacant units and common areas to ensure community is presentable and well cared for

*Pay is based on experience level. This role may be shared between two apartment communities.

Qualifications


  • 1 years' experience in property management and leasing preferred
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful, professional image, flexible
  • Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing
  • Must have strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Yardi Experience preferred
