Responsibilities

• Review the consolidation process (IC Elimination entry, BIS Balance Sheet consolidation)
• Review Phase 1 (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Net Debt Leverage calc, Net Working Capital)
• Review Phase 2 (SOCF, RF’s, LTM Adjusted EBITDA). Rollforwards include: Debt, Goodwill, PP&E, Intangibles.
• Review all addbacks (Restructuring/ Integration, Transaction Costs, Business Optimization, COVID-19, Other Non-recurring, Earnouts, etc.)
• Segment/ Segment Region balance sheet review
• Monthly CTA Check
• Review of all segment analysis and disclosures
• Review of Quarterly financials (BIS and BIH) – Footnotes and financial statements
• Review CFO Deck on a quarterly basis
• Ad hoc HFM Topside entries
• Significant contributor in completing reporting requirements to Brookfield
• Coaching and developing 2 direct reports.
• Perform technical accounting research, writing accounting polies and memos.
• Significant contributor in the drafting of MD&A (Management Discussion and Analysis) on a quarterly basis.
• Presentations to senior management such as Disclosure Committee, CFO Deck meetings and Brookfield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting & CPA, with exposure to business issues of large multinationals
• Experience with consolidations and financial reporting
• Minimum of 7-10 years in public/corporate accounting role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain accounting requirements in a clear and concise manner
• Operate independently and manage competing projects and demands
• Ability to quickly dissect and understand complex business transactions
