Pricing Manager/Senior Manager - BrandSafway

Description

We are looking for an experience professional to join our Corporate Pricing Team. This is a new position at BrandSafway and we are looking for a very analytical, highly effective leader to assist in building out this team and function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Aligns with leaders, operations, sales, and finance to establish overall pricing strategies
  • Ensures consistently in pricing methodologies and tools including CPQ
  • Identifies segmentation strategy (“where and how”) do we play with what products/services
  • Partners with product management to review and maintain list prices, including calculation methodology and list price method for new products
  • Reviews and calibrates model accuracy and discount factors for input into CPQ
  • Drives estimating new practices and new tool requirements
  • Responsible for estimating methodology and consistency
  • Manages and updates estimating inputs including labor and asset rates
  • Provide input into complex and large jobs
  • Measures “as-estimated” vs “as-delivered” variance for feedback look back into estimating process
  • Manages job profitability data cube and defines reports for business leaders
  • Responsible for coordinating data mapping across multiple systems and ERPs
  • Develops reporting on key margin leakages: discounts, freight, payment terms etc…
  • Partners with sales and operations to delivery regular reporting on price performance (target/achieved price)
  • Provides analyses to support pricing actions: e.g. cost increase pass-through etc…

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in business-to-business industrial services, preferably in commercial role
  • Significant interface skills with field sales team
  • Recommended 3-5 years pricing experience and experience possibly leading a team
  • Extensive experience in bid process and estimating for industrial/commercial business
  • Ability to make decisions and adjustments based off historical and forecasted data
  • Recommend previous experience managing estimating teams
  • Proven analytical skills, as well as modeling and data analysis, statistical skills
  • Experience in following software platforms a plus including SAS, SQL, Power BI.
