THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is looking for a Lead Product Designer to help us solve deep human, product, and technology problems in the relationship management & recruiting space. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working on small teams, is a great communicator, has experience designing B2B and B2C products, and has an eye for simplicity. This role provides the opportunity to gain understanding and user empathy through user research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iterating on new and exciting features to delight users and make their lives easier. You will be expected to perform external & competitive research and bring innovative ideas to deliver on their vision of One Product based on shared architecture & UX.
2-5 years of UX/UI design experience with proven success designing winning products with a focus on user empathy and customer delight; User research experience is a big plus
Experience with Figma is preferred, but Sketch, Invision, or any other leading design tool welcome
Experience owning the design process from start to finish and managing various internal & external stakeholder expectations
Analytical thinking and experience with making data-driven product decisions
A team player and a good listener who can collaborate with stakeholders and external customers throughout the entire design journey from idea conception to post-launch feedback & iteration
Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and ability to get things done quickly
Willing to take risks, propose alternative views, and embrace a culture of continuous learning
Partner with business leaders, stakeholders, and customers to discover pain points, validate approaches, and evangelize solutions
Help foster cross-functional communication & collaboration as well as strong empathy for the end user and the overall customer journey
Strong bias for making design decisions based on data and iterative building that matches the needs of our rapidly growing external customer base
Drive innovation and be an evangelist for new ideas and design approaches to ensure we continue our journey of disrupting the talent search industry
Perform user research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing, and iterate on new and existing features to delight users and build resilient workflows
Collaborate closely with the Engineering and QA team to support acceptance criteria creation & delivery
