The Village Child Development Center is looking for a full time Kindergarten Teacher! We are a small, play based learning center, with a Private kindergarten. The Kindergarten Early Childhood Teacher provides nurturing care and education to four and five year old children in a group setting, under the supervision of the Center Director; in accordance with the goals, curriculum plans, philosophy, and policies of Bradford Early Education, LTD.

• Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
• Must be ECT qualified, preferred licensure in Early Childhood or Elementary Education

Required skills:

• Knowledge of child development, early education theory and practice, safe and appropriate activities for children, policies and procedures to ensure safety and supervision of children.
• Familiarity of the framework of subjects taught and Common Core State Standards and Colorado State standards.
• Must be able to direct the efforts of support staff to create a harmonious classroom environment
• Demonstrates and maintains respect, cultural awareness and sensitivity, flexibility, strong work ethic, consistency compassion and understanding.
• Basic technology skills with laptop, tablet, electronic communications, and smart board

Experience:

License/Certification:
