Bradford Early Education is Hiring an Assistant Director Near Greenwood, CO

Bradford Early Education is looking for a competent Assistant Director to support the Director in managing the Village Child Development Center located in Greenwood Village. As the Assistant Director, you will be working to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with state and local rules and regulations. Assistant Directors are leaders and critical thinkers, highly organized, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles. The goal is to assist the Director oversee children’s programs, routines, fieldtrips, and educational activities; enforce policies of admission, attendance, tuition and educational goals; and maintain child and staff safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Director-Qualified candidates per the Colorado Department of Early Childhood are preferred. However, candidates who would be willing and are passionate and determined to begin the journey of becoming Director-Qualified within 90 days of employment, will also be considered. Experience is appreciated, however, on-site training and support is available, encouraged, and offered at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient knowledge of; child development, early education theories and practices, safe and appropriate activities for children, policies and procedures to ensure children are supervised and safe at all times.
Possesses the following skills; team building, supervisory, analytical and problem solving, decision making, effective communication (verbal/listening/written), stress management, time management, and teaching techniques.
Must demonstrate basic technology knowledge and skills, including but not limited to; use of laptop/touch pad/mouse/keyboard, electronic communications, saving/printing documents, etc.
Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Word/Xcel, Adobe Reader, internet.
Must exhibit strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
