BR Cattle Company, LLC is Hiring an Office Manager Near Collins, MS

Office Manager and Bookkeeper
BR Cattle Co., LLC is a large-scale family cattle operation, growing approximately 30,000 head of beef cattle annually. We are looking to hire a long term employee to grow with our business.

Payroll

  • Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data (approx. 30 employees)
  • Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including federal and state income and social security tax, and calculating employer’s payments for social security, unemployment and worker’s compensation
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
  • Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees
  • Experienced in Quickbooks or other accounting software (*willing to learn Quickbooks)

Bookkeeper

  • Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable
  • Daily financial entries and reconciliations
  • Record bills, payments, and adjustments
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Comfortable using Excel

Minimum Experience

  • Requires strong communication, math, writing and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Collins, MS 39428: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
