Functional Area Summary:
The focus and key result for the Business Development team is revenue growth and account retention. This team owns BPA Health leadership strategy for our involvement in the markets and industries we serve. Brand building through marketing and stakeholder relations is key. This team is responsible for development and execution of formal plans for new customer acquisition as well as customer retention. Working with our internal clinical and operations experts and our external partners, the Business Development team is responsible as lead for developing new products and crafting all business proposals. The team owns centralized account management of all customer contracts.
General Position Summary:
The Customer Success Specialist is responsible for supporting the business development team, assisting in building and maintaining account relationships, supporting day-to-day operations, and assisting our customers, including brokers, in accessing the support and services they need.
The Customer Success Specialist is tech savvy, highly organized, detail-oriented, positive, helpful and embodies BPA Health’s core values of “Do the Right Thing, Growth Mindset, Actively Engage, and Do What You Say.”
Key Outcomes

· Effective internal and external communication to maintain existing customer success & maximize growth
Essential Functions:
· General administrative support to the Business Development team
· Standard bid & contract development
· Processes contract renewals and new contracts
· Creates and disseminates regular and ad hoc reports internally & externally
· Manages and maintains customer and account databases
· Responsible for marketing materials inventory and ordering
· Maintains database(s) with information including prospective and current customer profiles, communication tracking, account/contract status
· Assists in sales channel operations
· Collects feedback and distributes internally to inform and improve services
· Maintains and distributes information promoting BPA Health services and programs
· Demonstrates and encourages productive teamwork and harmony
Secondary Functions:
· May cross train to assist other departments
· Participates in company activities to assist with wellness and morale
· Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Demonstrates strong customer relationship expertise
· Demonstrates detail orientation, working with a high level of organization and accuracy
· Uses data to analyze trends, make recommendations on product mix and services
· Takes initiative responding to opportunity with energy and focus
· Possesses excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

· Skilled at creating, using and managing databases for report generation, process improvement and analysis
Education and/or Experience:
· 2 – 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, sales, customer success
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
· Experience with CRM – Zoho preferred
· Experience with Excel, basic desktop publishing preferred
· Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences appreciated
