Bozzuto's Inc. is Hiring a Compensation Analyst Near Cheshire, CT

Role As the Compensation Analyst, you will partner with leaders of the organization to develop, recommend, implement and maintain various compensation programs to drive and reward performance of the organization. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll focus on: Participating in and gathering data from market-based compensation surveys; using spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends in order to ensure competitiveness. Converting data into meaningful insights Preparing and maintaining job descriptions for all positions in the organization; ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents. Conducting job analysis and total compensation reviews with business leaders Ensuring proper FLSA status, job leveling integrity and regulatory compliance Leading the job evaluation process and educating leaders on organizational compensation practices Analyzing market benchmarking, budget implications and providing recommendations to improve organizations reward programs In partnership, developing, recommending and implementing incentive and variable compensation programs Preparing and maintaining job classifications and salary scales Preparing and presenting summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information Skills Experience interpreting and applying wage & hour laws, and FLSA classifications Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and interpersonal and presentation skills Highly proficient in Excel and all Microsoft Suite Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Desired Qualifications 5 years of progressively complex compensation experience including data collection and analysis, working knowledge of compensation systems, job evaluation methodology, and principals of wage/salary administration Bachelor’s Degree – Human Resources Management, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
