Who You Are

An energetic technically savvy tech professional, experienced as a Helpdesk Tech, escalating

issues and resolving tickets, and someone people come to for support and coaching. Your

speciality is user support, handing 100 users, including customers and end-users

(Administrative and C-Level) alike. You aspire to take the next step in your career and have

experience as a Junior Salesforce Administrator who has worked with Salesforce Client

Relationship Management systems and are comfortable developing training and technical

manuals for users with Google Suite systems.

Position Purpose

This is a new position, to be located at our main Don FIsher Clubhouse in San Francisco, with a hybrid

schedule as part of the evaluation and impact team (i.e., Outcomes Measurement (OM)). Your

primary responsibilities are managing the membership and attendance Salesforce infrastructure,

providing feedback and guidance for other Salesforce elements to their respective departments,

and providing user-support including training for the Salesforce implementation called

“MyClubHub”. Accomplishing these tasks requires you to remain in contact with colleagues either

through telephone, e-mail or face-to-face interaction.

On the Salesforce Administration side you will master the MyClubHub integration, with the

potential to grow into the Administrator for the full SF system. The direct supervisor will be the

Director of Evaluation and Impact and this position does not have any direct reports, but provides

support to more than 100 users and 1000s of families using the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce and MCH Implementation Administration – 50%

  • Support the development of quick-win solutions for clubs, including report generation, dashboard adaptations, liaising with BGCA tech support, among others.
  • Administering the SF database includes establishing a monthly backup system, managing users (front and back end), completing any support requests or report generation, testing new features and functionality and reporting to the Director of Evaluation and Impact.
  • Managing the upload of prior databases into the Salesforce system through Dataloader.io to maintain a complete database of all prior Club members with their attendance.
  • Configuring the system at each registration period for new members (contacts & accounts), membership types, point-of-sale elements, and all other configuration requirements. Coordinating the registration process with all sites, ensuring their membership types, costs, and special situations are set up correctly within the SF system.
  • Some examples may be assisting in Flows, Lightning Components, Visualforce Pages, connecting external data sources, custom integrations, and more.
  • While providing system support to all front and back end users, you will be responsible for developing solutions to address business processes using Salesforce.

System Support including User Tickets– 20%

  • Ensure that staff is informed about their responsibilities in MCH and provide feedback to the OM team about how to best support Club and Administrative staff using the MCH system.
  • Maintain and run the ticket support system providing general guidance and support, and technical support to all 14 sites along with the Administration departments.
  • Support the systems operations of the Parent Portal and its customers including Clubs and parent users.

Training and Coaching – 20%

  • Develop front-end and back-end manuals to supplement training to optimize the tech support process.
  • Elicit organization-wide feedback about training packages and identify additional training opportunities within the organization.
  • Develop and roll out ongoing training to all Club and Administrative staff on topics relevant to the MCH platform, new integrations, and the Parent Portal community.
  • Create an annual training schedule for all Club and Administrative Staff and roll out in collaboration with the Learning & Development department.
  • Run a monthly feedback session with club staff (AAs and ACs/Club Staff (CS) /Club Leadership) on the MCH platform and hold office hours for system support.

Data entry and management: 5%

  • Help design processes to streamline data entry, cleaning, and quality control at the Administrative and Club/Site level through the Salesforce system.
  • Support data entry or manipulation procedures as needed by the OM Team for entry into the MCH platform.
  • Upload large datasets for Clubs when their Administrative Associates and Coordinators (AAs/ACs) are behind using Dataloader.io.

Other Support - 5%

  • Routinely report on progress and status of the work to the OM Team, including keeping your task list, Key Performance Indicators, and your training schedule up to date.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field or two years of experience may substitute for two years of education.
  • Four (4) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Data entry or data management experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in training and user-support.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite; strong skills in spreadsheets.
  • One to two years of experience with Salesforce CRM and Dataloader.io.
  • Experience training or teaching.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay on track to complete concurrent projects.

Physical Requirements

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon employment. 
  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs. 
  • Must be able to stand for at least 1 hour consecutively. 
  • Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time.

Pay

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and BGCSF needs. At BGCSF, our decisions are based on other factors and dependant on circumstances for each position. Depending on the need and requirement of the position, an individual could be hired at or near the entry level, mid - level or top of the range for their role and compensation. As such, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000.00-$65,000.00 annually.
