We are currently seeking a dedicated Youth Development Specialist who will design and facilitate high quality youth programming in the areas of STEM, music, academics, sports, and social emotional fitness. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for Youth Development Specialist. The Youth Development Specialist responsible for safety, administrative compliance branch programming and front desk operations.
Duties include but not limited to: adhering to all policies, procedures and processes; safety of members, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities; administrative compliance and reporting with accuracy; membership tracking; implementing assigned programming and activities; provide excellent customer service; build relationships; and be a positive role model.
Work sites are located in low income areas, challenging neighborhoods, and growth neighborhoods. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and at times moderate or very loud. Position requires working with large groups of youth.
At the branches, youth receive targeted services in a safe, supportive environment from staff who believe in the organization’s mission. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.
