Boys & Girls Clubs Of Greater Tarrant County is Hiring a Program Coordinator - Full Time Near Fort Worth, TX

Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for Comin Up Coordinator for the Comin Up Gang Intervention Program. The CU Coordinator is, under direct supervision of the Senior Director of CU responsible for program coordination, program support, reporting, administrative duties, and office management.

Duties include but not limited to: assisting supervisor with program coordination and activities; provide program support to employees; compile data and create required reports; complete all administrative duties; maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, and be a positive role model.

Work site is located in low income areas, challenging neighborhoods, and growth neighborhoods. There is potential for exposure to germs and illnesses. Employees are to follow all safety procedures and protocols.

Comin Up Gang Intervention Program serves gang-involved youth between the ages of 13-24 years in Fort Worth communities. Comin Up Program provides needs-based services and activities in efforts to reduce gang violence and influence positive change.

Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred

· 1 year of administrative experience with demonstrated ability to perform duties

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work regular business hours (8:00am-5:00pm Monday – Friday)
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
  • Ability to accurately handle multiple task simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to be detail oriented and efficient
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and possess good judgement
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient typing skills and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of database systems and ability to perform data entry
  • Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • Position requires driving personal vehicle. Candidates must have satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under the company insurance the requirement is for employee to be a minimum of age 21.

Salary & Benefits

Minimum starting pay: $15.95 per hour
