Boys & Girls Club of Hernando County is seeking a FULL TIME Custodian to keep our flagship Club and administrative office clean and sanitary!
Boys & Girls Club of Hernando County (BGCHC) provides fun, engaging, and educational before-and-after school programming within Hernando County’s public schools. We also provide early childhood education at seven preschool locations. Our mission is to enable children, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
In your job as a Custodian with Boys & Girls Club of Hernando County, you will complete for wide variety of custodial duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment at the Westside Unit, Westside Preschool & administrative offices.
Following a checklist of daily, weekly and monthly tasks, you clean each room, restroom and office from top to bottom, leaving no surface untouched. You clean floors, tables, desks, window sills and air vents. You take out all the trash, fill paper products and maintain the inventory of all chemicals and supplies. Occasionally, you set up for events and periodically deep clean.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays
- 40 hours/week, 1:00pm - 9:30pm with a 30 minute break

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of custodial experience
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation between locations
