Job Summary:

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and accounting? We are seeking a dynamic Staff Accountant to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. If you have experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and you're eager to take on responsibilities ranging from overseeing transactions to collaborating on strategic financial initiatives, then we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable Expertise: Utilize your experience to oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Financial Records Management: Maintain meticulous records of transactions and develop a digital organization system to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure all applicable taxes are paid or applied correctly, contributing to the organization's financial health and regulatory compliance.
• Financial Statement Accuracy: Play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements through meticulous analysis and attention to detail.
• Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end close process, contributing to the timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the Controller on ad-hoc projects, system implementations, and accelerating month-end closes, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (Preferred).
• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Thorough knowledge of Financial Statements and their components.
• Experience with manual reconciliations and journal entries.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and committed to strict confidentiality.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP program (Preferred).
