Stock Grant:

Qualified candidates will be eligible to receive restricted stock units of Boxabl, Inc. stock. Officeemployees will receive a $250,000.00 grant. The restricted stock units will be awarded at the time of hiring as part of the normal new hire onboarding process. Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&D Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing to join our dynamic research and development team. The R&D Engineer will play a key role in developing and improving our products and processes, utilizing their expertise in both research and manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define research and development goals and objectives related to product and process improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineering team to develop in-house testing procedures, collect testing data, and interpret testing results for a wide range of projects including structural analysis, weather barrier, etc.
• Lead and organize a team of R&D technicians to accomplish prototype builds, test parts builds, testing parts and other tasks as needed.
• Hire, lead, and coach a team of R&D technicians.
• Develop and execute a schedule with all activities.
• Conduct research and analysis to develop innovative solutions that enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to validate and optimize product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Utilize manufacturing expertise to provide input during the product development cycle, ensuring designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective production.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new materials, components, and technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in both R&D and manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in research and development, with a focus on product development and improvement.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control methods.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Hands on approach, actively works hands on with the team members on the tasks.
• Experience with using hand tools and equipment such as lathe, mill, drill press, CNC equipment.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
