The Role…
We are seeking a manager who is witty, bright, hard-working, has great social skills that have had relevant experience in a busy and high-volume bar/restaurant. The manager must have strong people and leadership skills. Very good administrative background. Knowledgeable in wines and cocktails. You are career-oriented and passionate about the hospitality industry.
At Sweet & Vicious, the assistant manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of the bar, by providing a highly efficient and effective service whilst ensuring that all financial and statutory requirements are met and supporting the delivery of outstanding customer service.
You will implement the delivery of the business strategy, in conjunction with the General Manager.
You will be assisting the bartender when needed with preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and providing excellent service accompanied by memorable experiences to all guests who visit Sweet & Vicious.
You will need to have professional behavior, charisma, and positive energy to create a fun environment that drives conversation and sales.
A successful Assistant Manager will greet customers, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.
To succeed as a Sweet & Vicious Bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.
Job Purpose
