We make everything from scratch and are consistently rated in the top 10 for college dining! We have our own butcher shop, bakeshop, and organic garden that all supply food to our 2 dining halls and 3 retail locations.

This position will primarily support our dining catering events.

The Catering Waitstaff / Bartender is responsible for working various events on campus following standard procedures to facilitate service of food and beverages to Bowdoin College catering customers.

Pay rate : $23.00 / hour shift differentials

Education / Skills Requirements Required :

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Must pass Maine Alcohol Server Course (B.A.S.I.C)
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Must be able to work independently in a team atmosphere
• Must be neat and clean and demonstrate good personal hygiene practices
• Ability to work cooperatively and closely with others.

Experience Requirements and / or Equivalents Required :

• No prior experience necessary. Willing to train the right candidate for the role!
• This position is subject to a pre-placement physical and criminal background check

Preferred :

• Previous bartending experience
• Demonstrated reliability
• Some related experiences.

• Various shifts available and flexible hours, as needed for events on campus.
