Boulevard Tire Center - Serving Florida Since 1968 is looking for a top notch Service Manager in Central Florida. This is an exciting career opportunity to get on board with the best provider of quality tire products and services, while leading the industry in innovative processes. You'll have all the tools you will need to service your customers including a full line of commercial and retail tires for trucks, cars, SUVs, and farm/industrial equipment, along with a full array of commercial, passenger and light truck services. Our ideal candidate will be able to effectively and efficiently handle all service calls and drive customer service in a fast paced automotive services retail store.JOB SUMMARY: Manage all day-to-day operations, support efforts to increase sales, improve profitability and meet company objectives and goals, provide leadership, coaching and training to all personnel in a fast paced automotive services retail store.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Ability to maintain or exceed profitability to include goals and objectives set by the company for operating profit, operating expense and salary expense.
  2. Handles customers to ensure a high level of profitability and customer service.
  3. Oversees operational efficiency and administrative operations to effectively apply knowledge of all invoicing procedures, PO processes, customer billing, credit apps and collections.
  4. Consistently manages the proper mix of inventory. Controls inventory and oversees movement of inventory in and out of facility.
  5. Maintain, understand and use of the software to manage accounts.
  6. Training and development of employees including new hire orientation and processing of new hire packet, procedures, products, safety and quality to maintain operational compliance and consistency.
  7. Ability to direct, control, delegate responsibility.
  8. Provide leadership and motivation for hourly and management associates; promotes respect, honesty integrity and fairness to all.
  9. Ability to communicate to personnel and execute Company policies and procedures.

  1. General industry knowledge.
  2. Strong commitment to customer service and sales and ability and willingness to engage in conversation with customers about our products.
  3. Ability to lead and direct others with good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and must have the ability and willingness to delegate duties as needed.
  4. Demonstrated customer service orientation, maintains positive attitude under pressure.
  5. Ability to motivate others to succeed
  6. Ability to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures along with all related federal and state laws.
  7. Support efforts to provide all employees with a positive and safe working environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum 3 years of management experience
  2. Possess valid Florida driver's license or ability to obtain a Florida driver's license
  3. Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  4. Must possess or ability to obtain a current Florida driver's license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  1. Must be comfortable working in varying temperature conditions.
  2. Must be comfortable working with co-workers and public contact.
  3. Must have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, and squat.
  4. Able to sit, stand and carry products and/or equipment of up to or over 70 lbs.
  5. Must be able to stand 8 hours continuously and daily.
