As a key member of the Northeast Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide analysis and reporting to assist in managing the P&L and performance metrics for NY, Boston and the combined Northeast system. The individual will understand drivers of the business, and provide leadership with accurate, timely and relevant information. Will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of cost planning, day to day finance support for the office and office leadership, capacity planning and assist with broader Financial Planning and Analysis topics.
Ensure financials are accurately projected
Own and manage cost planning, cost reporting, and budgets from start to finish
Collaborate with a wide variety of business partners, including local offices, NE system, regional / global finance, practice areas, and others
Complete ad hoc requests and perform other duties as needed in a timely manner
Provide support/transparency to staffing teams on leakage and other revenue drivers
Provide leverage to Risk roadmapping initiatives
Play supporting role within NE finance as reporting needs and initiatives evolve
Be involved with capacity planning support
Serve as functional topic expert, and develop, improve, and lead trainings
Specific duties include:
Budget, Planning and Analysis for the Notheast:
Own annual operational budgets and forecasts in accordance with regional and global guidelines, business trends and line management
Act as liaison with functional line managers to assist in managing cost budgets monthly
Support the Northeast in providing equity across offices and functions for cost planning
Develop automated reporting, driven by customer needs, to scale with the business
Support short and long term capacity planning modeling, analysis, monthly forecasting of capacity and reporting to senior leadership
Develop, maintain and support headcount analysis for long term realestate decisions
Develop, maintain and deliver trainings to multiple stakeholder groups
Reporting and Analysis:
Act as a thought partner for Business Management Directors, and NE Managing Director & Partner group to help lead business forward on multiple dimensions
Act as finance liaison for functional managers and conduct monthly variance analysis
Prepare materials/content on key financial metrics and present to leadership group as required
Build financial system expertise, development of financial applications, policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and controls
Support NE Finance system with other initiatives in collaboration with NE colleagues
Act on heavy ad hoc data request and analysis for local office needs
P&L Management
Evolve and play role in P&L checks and balances
Work with US General Ledger team and Global Accounting & Control to ensure any P&L corrections are implemented
Supervise employee maintenance process
Review expense exceptions
Coordinate local office year-end accruals
Implement and maintain proper internal controls and processes for AP invoices
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
A minimum of 3-5 years of finance-related experience
Experience in a professional services environment a plus

Experience with Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Essbase or HFM a plus
