We are looking for a Finance Assistant to learn and contribute to the BCG BrightHouse Finance & Operations team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role you will work directly with the strategy, creative, and film production teams in addition to office leadership, providing ample executive presence and networking opportunities.
Co-ops are highly valued, fully contributing members of our team and receive significant responsibility and exposure to our customers. Through a combination of valuable hands-on work experience, training, and mentoring, our co-ops experience rapid professional growth. This role will support the function of the BCG BrightHouse Atlanta office business services team at BCG.
Our co-ops will gain exposure to and help support several high visibility topics across the team. These include:

• Assisting in revenue and capacity leakage analysis, meeting with staffing function to identify required adjustments and help facilitate corrections processing.
• Loading staffing percentages into Staffing and More (SAM) tool.
• Preparing weekly client project budget report emails and sending them to case team leadership
• Assist in tracking timely invoicing and invoice payments to improve office AR DSO metrics
• Liaison with our shared services team to complete timesheet & expense auditing and corrections for the office
• Managing case lifecycles (opening codes, processing adjustments, issuing invoices, forecasting, etc.)
• Assisting with various cost tracking and reporting analysis
• Expense reimbursements: airline reimbursements, IT expenses, in-lieu of travel auditing
• Miscellaneous expense tracking and re-coding
• Supporting film production team with vendor contract collection, Coupa system onboarding, invoice submission follow up and tracking.
• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects and reporting

• Staying organized: Our team touches many pieces of the business that will require co-ops to be flexible and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Being proactive: after gaining experience and confidence co-ops should start trying to preparing in advance for different scenarios that may come up

• Enrollment in a BS/BA program (Business, finance, accounting, operations a plus)
• Prior work and/or co-op experience a plus but not required
• Demonstrated strong academic performance
• Excellent interpersonal skills and have an ability to work both in a team and independently
• A high level of organization and are incredibly detail-oriented
• Willingness to take initiative on projects and a high level of resourcefulness
• Proficient in Excel and able to pick up new tools and systems quickly
• The ability to work in fast paced environment
• Current enrollment in an accredited college/university degree program. Your college/university must have an existing co-op partnership with BCG's Global Services organization and recognize full-time employment as academic credit that will be part of your official transcript
• Eligibility for the co-op program of your current college/university's academic department and you must be approved by the college/university to participate in the co-op program
• The flexibility to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (January - July)
