Summary: The Human Resource Manager supports the VP of HRin providing full-service human resources support to our organization. In thisrole, you will provide employee coaching and counseling to department directorsand managers in the areas of discipline, termination, grievances and interpretspolicies and procedures. Provides HR Operations support to the organization.HRIS support to the HR team & organization. Conducts investigations onclaims of harassment, hostile work environment, etc. Provides general HRinformation to employees and leaders regarding all facets of HR services.Supports training on employee relations issues. May support informationgathering in response to legal matters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Servesas an HR Manager by providing information to all levels of employees regardingall facets of human resources functions. Directs employees to appropriatemembers of the human resources team for support. 2. Processes,investigates, and resolves informal and formal complaints, concerns, orquestions relative to human resource issues and provide consultative leadershipand support to all entities as appropriate. 3. Reviewsdisciplinary matters submitted by department and clinic managers and providesappropriate guidance and advice pursuant to organizational policy. May functionas HR representative and support to leadership during disciplinary meetings.Assists with the development of Performance Improvement Plans as necessary.4. Supportleadership by advising on performance review content and development.5. Mayassist with data collection and analysis, metric development, reporting,improvement activities, development of training and follow-upactivities. 6. Facilitatesthe interactive process with appropriate parties and determines andcommunicates employee work restrictions and potential accommodations.7. Conductsand/or reviews employee exit interviews. Gathers and records information incentralized exit interview database. Makes recommendations for serviceimprovement based on interview feedback.8. Workson a collaborative basis with managers and directors on resolution of humanresource issues.9. Maintainscurrent knowledge of federal and state statutes relating to employment andhuman resource legislation. 10. ProviderHRIS support11. Otherduties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’sdegree in Human Resource Management or related business degree; Master’s degreepreferred2. SHRM-CPor SHRM-SCP credential highly preferred; must obtain in first year ofemployment if not already certified; SHRM CA HR Law Specialty Credentialpreferred 3. Minimumfive years’ experience in Employee Relations or related Human Resourcesgeneralist function.4. Workingknowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, hrissupport, HR operations support, performance management, compensationadministration, employment legislation, benefits administration.5. Knowledgeand experience in working with, advising, supporting, and mentoring leadershipon employee relations matters. 6. HRcertification highly preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SHRM CA HR Law SpecialtyCredential) Special Conditions of Employment: 1. ValidCalifornia driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
