Financial Analyst
The Opportunity:
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Navy's resources can make the most impact.
As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll work on a financial management strategy to help your client's programs succeed. You’ll work with project managers and task leads to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project managers. This is your chance to use your consulting skills while furthering your financial analysis experience. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:
3 years of experience with procurement, purchasing, or financial management supporting the Navy or DoD
Experience with Navy ERP and Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to effectively plan workload and meet established deadlines
Ability to clearly and concisely articulate technical subject matter both written and verbally
Ability to organize large amounts of information
Ability to effectively brief the team regarding status updates
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with DoD contracting
Experience researching, analyzing, deciphering, and explaining complex financial and acquisition laws and policies
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
