What This Role Is

  • A chance to build foundational People policies and practices that will help our employees thrive

What This Role Is Not

  • This is not a desk job - a big component of the role is getting to know the team and be where they are and where the work happens
  • This is not a 9 to 5 job - we believe strongly in work/life balance and taking time off (for example, we have an Unlimited PTO policy for starters), but we also know that sometimes the work doesn’t fit in a normal schedule. Sometimes you will take the afternoon off to handle personal items, and sometimes, you will be supporting the team in the evening because that’s when they work.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for leading all HR / People support for designated functional groups across the organization including:

  • Partner with functional leaders to establish HR priorities that drive results in support of business priorities
  • Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and people experience
  • Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment
  • Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues
  • Work with managers and employees to address employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties’ interests
  • Drive organization people-focused initiatives and projects to build leader capabilities and foster a diverse and inclusive environment

What You Should Already Have

  • Demonstrated ability to scale HR business processes in hyper growth environments both directionally and tactically
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and support both exempt and non-exempt employees
