Overview

BOOST is helping one of our teaming partners hire a qualified Business Analyst to join their team and serve within a client-facing capacity. You will be a critical part of our consulting team and must be able to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences, including senior-level management, both in writing and verbally. You will support the development of a new information security program within a federal agency through research, analysis, and report development as well as tool implementation support.You will be able to coordinate with both subject matter experts and technical staff to assist in assessing and implementing various technical projects. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule operating out of both McLean, VA and Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Leads the research effort to gather key information for the automation of Microsoft Purview (formally Microsoft Information Protection)
• Provides support on Microsoft Purview implementation
• Implements keywords for automation in Microsoft Purview
• Leads the information systems assessment to determine what systems at EPA are compliant with program requirements and work with system owners to determine a plan for ensuring compliance
• Drafts marking tool help desk support materials

Qualifications

Experience 

• 3 years of experience in a federal consulting environment with a client-facing role
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience developing business process improvement documentation, gap analyses, and risk management artifacts
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., policies, interviews) and develop analysis and recommendations based on findings. 
• Experience analyzing systems and system components against requirements
• Experience developing reports, briefings, and decks

Work Authorization Requirements

• US citizenship 
• Availability to work a hybrid schedule on-site at McLean, VA and Washington, DC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Purview (formally Microsoft Information Protection or MIP)
• Experience with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programs or other Privacy/information security programs
• Public Trust Clearance or higher
