Position Overview Bonneville Seattle, home to KIRO Newsradio 97.3, Seattle Sports, 770 KTTH and MyNorthwest.com is currently seeking a responsible, outgoing, enthusiastic and friendly individual to represent our brands when assisting with off-site events. There also may be potential for some in- office tasks (weekly sales and programming promotions, including contest fulfillment and other special projects). This person will be called upon to represent the radio station brands at various events including live broadcasts, client appearances, sporting events and other station promotions as conditions allow. Due to the nature of the job, hours and shifts will vary from week to week and are based on scheduled events. Position may work 10-20 hours in a given week. Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion. This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Seattle site. What You Will Do: Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to: Providing event prep/set up/staffing/tear down at station events and remote broadcasts while interacting with and engaging brand audiences as conditions allow Assisting in event recaps Potential for posting on digital platforms General in-office duties such as data entry and clerical duties are possible including; Front desk coverage In-house promotions and marketing Preparing signage, promotions, giveaways for events, clients and partners Conducting tours of the station broadcast house Interacting with listeners, clients, and hosts in a positive manner Conducting contests and fulfilling prizes according to station policies and rules at events Maintaining vehicles, banners, equipment and all associated promotional assets Skills and Experience We Are Looking For: A strong work ethic, positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills Attention to detail Reliable, responsible, dependable and able to fulfill assignments. Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and time constraints and perform assigned duties on schedule as assigned as services performed affect company, clients and audiences. Must have a valid driver’s license and proven ability to safely drive company vehicles (including Sprinter van) without exposing the company to serious liability risk. A personal driving record will be required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions under limited supervision. Must be able to solve problems, bring solutions and able to prioritize tasks. Work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines High level of proficiency with computers, software and ability to learn and work with new technologies. Afternoon, Evening, Weekend availability. Must be available to work consistently each week, as well as flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination. Lift, move, and carry up to 50-100 pounds on occasion. Able to walk or stand for periods of time while assisting at offsite events Compensation $18.69 - $20.00 Salary/Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
