Recognized as one of Utah's top 100 fastest growing companies, we are experiencing impressive growth and need additional Superintendents to help maintain and direct future projects, specifically hospitality and multi-family projects. We are actively searching for a Assistant Construction Superintendent for our Salt Lake City office. Job Requirements:
- Proficient at reading and understanding blueprints.
- Supervise all phases of the construction process.
- Resolve conflicts with the superintendent to avoid delays.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Responsible for all day-to day jobsite activities including subcontractor management, safety, inspections, and client/owner relationships.
- Ensures that construction work meets plans and specifications.
- Ensures all warranty issues are identified, documented, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist with project close-out including certificate of occupancies, punch list management.
- Markets the company to the owner and architectural team; engages the business development department in pursuing future opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, contract documents and specifications, and CPM schedules.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of established construction means and methods.
- Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Thorough and attentive to details; extremely organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
- Computer skills; proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Procore.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Superintendent will have Experience of commercial construction projects with knowledge of hotels and multifamily.
- Post-tension construction experience, especially post-tension parking garages.
- OSHA 10 recommended
