Responsibilities

  • Adhere to strict menu and time guidelines while working in fast-paced environment
  • Make menu items to meet quality, portion, and time standards while using equipment and materials properly
  • Operate grill using correct temperature and cleanliness, grilling items to standards in proper order
  • Maintain line cleanliness and sanitation (cutting boards, floor, trash, slicer, and walk-in areas)
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the menu, vendors and products in the deli
  • Prioritize time to ensure that prep work, stocking, cleaning and customer service are handled efficiently

Qualifications


Requirements

  • Restaurant or deli experience required
  • Passion for cooking and excellent customer service
  • Able and willing to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Thrives as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions
  • Food safety certified by the State of Idaho
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, recipes & training materials
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance, adhere to scheduled shifts, be ready to work when shift begins

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a grocery store setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
