What you will do (day in the life):
In this role, you will be a requirements and verification engineer using engineering methodologies for requirements allocation. You will assist in planning and executing GMD Element requirements and verification for the upgrades to the GMD Element.
Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer – Requirements and Verification Level 2 to join the development team on one of our (many) prime programs .
Work Location: Huntsville, AL
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option s.
As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer on this team you will:
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions in support of the Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Mid-Course defense system. The position activities include the evaluation of customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. ( An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)

Required Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD 4 years' related work experience, Master 7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
