Essential Functions

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all serviceware as prescribed.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health
• Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Perform all assigned sidework to include replenishing condiments and restocking
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, greeting and seating guests and ensuring guest
• Attend required

Safety Requirements

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and
• Ability to understand and communicate English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 through a crowded room.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200

Education

• Grade school education preferred.
• Prefer six (6) months previous bussing experience.
• Must obtain any government required licenses or certificates. Examples include a Washington Health Card Permit; Oregon Liquor Service Permit; Alcohol Service Permit. CPR certification and/or 1^st Aid Training preferred.

Grooming / Uniforms

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.

Notice:

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subjected to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
